- For 12 days I’m sharing ideas for stocking stuffers or gifts for the sewers in your life (or to add to your own list). Here’s another idea:
Christmas Gift Idea #6: Point Turner
Seriously. This is a useful tool. Have you ever tried to make spaghetti straps or turn any sort of fabric tube? You can try the large safety pin method, the string method – they both work, but neither is easier than using this point turner. Frankly, it’s a bit hard to “get your head around” at first (well, it was for me) – but it’s really simple and does a great job – quickly!
There are very clear and simple step by step instructions on the back of the package. It’s easy to use and a real time (and frustration) saver. It’s also really inexpensive – you can get one from Nancy’s Notions for $14.99 (on sale now, regularly $19.99). Check it out – it’s a great sewing gadget that would make a useful stocking stuffer!
Merry Christmas and Happy Sewing!
